Important Message for our Members
2020 has been a year of change for all of us. We started the year with regular, in-person meetings and making plans for our one-day technical conference in May. However, public health concerns associated with the coronavirus (COVID-19) forced us to postpone the May conference and switch to virtual monthly meetings. Our Board of Directors have had numerous dialogue on what makes sense, and at the end of the day, it was clear that the health and safety of our members, conference attendees and greater community was and is our highest priority. After careful consideration, and in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we are postponing our AWMA Rocky Mountain States Section Air Quality Conference. The re-scheduled conference date is October 7, 2021. We look forward to hosting you in-person next year and are committed to providing a relevant and educational conference. For those who have already registered for the conference, you will be seeing additional communications from our Registration Committee.
Let me also take a moment to acknowledge that our virtual meetings have been running smoothly and the attendance/participation has been great! In case you have missed the meetings from earlier in the year, please visit our website (https://awma-rmss.org/presentations/) to get caught up on topics of interest. The Section will continue to have virtual meetings until we feel it is safe to return to an in-person format.
Please stay safe and healthy! Let us know if you have any questions or comments. We are always interested to hear from you!
If you have registered for the Conference, your payment will be applied to attendance in October. However, the Section can provide a full refund if requested. Please contact our Treasurer, Bethany Moffat at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like a refund.
