Mark your calendars for our next RMSS-AWMA luncheon meeting, which will be Thursday, May 21st 11:30-1pm, in the New York room at the conference center at 1801 California Street in downtown Denver (where our March and April meetings were held). Our guest speaker, Margie Klitch, will present “Air Dispersion Modeling: The Basics and Beyond.”

Abstract:  Air Dispersion Modeling is often viewed as a complicated “black box,” with numerous proverbial hoops to navigate before a regulatory agency will grant an air permit (or modification). This presentation will start with air dispersion modeling basics (when it is required, data needs, physical and chemical processes) and then discuss compliance demonstrations for two case studies: a dual fuel power plant in New Mexico, and a sour gas sweetening and liquids recovery gas plant in Wyoming.
